Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced web engineer to help expand and improve our applications. You must have a passion for innovating and building new ideas, and experience building production-ready web applications.

Requirements:

• BS or above in Computer Science or related degree
• Ruby on Rails, AJAX, XHTML, Javascript, REST experience
• Experience building enterprise-level web applications
• Comfortable working directly with customers
• Strong work ethic and understanding of startup environment

Skills

• Very strong Ruby on Rails background, or deep Java experience with knowledge of RoR
• REST/Resource-oriented design
• Capistrano setup and deployment
• MVC framework
• Front-end design:
• XHTML/CSS
• Javascript
• Prototype/Scriptaculous
• MySQL table design, tuning, indexing
• Web application security and scalability
• Caching
• Agile development practices and writing very dry code
